August 2026:
Eric is excited to start teaching and building collaborative research as an Assistant Professor of Environmental Studies at Austin College!
May 2026:
Eric successfully defended his dissertation surrounded by friends, family and colleagues in Houston and from Madagascar and elsewhere over Zoom!
March 2026:
A collaborative team from the US and Madagascar, including Eric, published a study in Biological Conservation on the ecological impacts of invasive strawberry guava in eastern Madagascar.
November 2025:
Eric enjoyed sharing his dissertation research and meeting researchers and conservation professionals at four conferences over the past few months:

Eric was published in Trends in Ecology & Evolution discussing their experiences as a disabled ecologist.
August 2026:
